Army head visits UK troops in Helmand for Christmas

The head of the British Army, General Sir Peter Wall, has visited servicemen and women in Helmand Province to thank them for their work in Afghanistan.

At Camp Bastion in Helmand Province General Sir Peter Wall met some of the 9,500 men and women spending the festive period thousands of miles from their families.
