David Cameron 'sorry' for Tourette's comment in Commons

David Cameron has apologised after accusing the Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls of behaving like someone with Tourette's Syndrome.

The prime minister said he had been speaking "off the cuff" when he made the comment to the Daily Telegraph.

Mr Cameron had been criticised by campaigners for showing disrespect for those with the condition.
