Volunteer lock-keepers needed to help new charity

Thirteen million people use our canals and rivers every year, and now they are being asked to put something back, by becoming volunteer lock-keepers.

British Waterways is behind the campaign, as it heads towards becoming a new charity, the Canal & River Trust in April.

It is calling on local communities to get involved.
