Snow showers: Are councils prepared?

Temperatures in parts of the UK plunged to -11C (12F) on Thursday night, as forecasters warned of a bitterly cold spell and snow showers over the weekend.

BBC's Daniel Boettcher has been finding out how local councils are preparing.

Nick Tupper from Norfolk County Council told him that, as well as gritters, snow ploughs were on standby.
