Heavy snow covers parts of the UK

Heavy snow is falling across large parts of the UK, causing disruption on roads, and prompting warnings of worse to come.

The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for much of the country, and about a third of Sunday's flights from Heathrow airport have been cancelled.
