BBC's Jeremy Bowen pay tribute to Marie Colvin

Tributes have been paid to Marie Colvin, the highly respected American Sunday Times reporter, following her death in the Syrian city of Homs.

The BBC's Middle East Editor Jeremy Bowen said she was "a real nuts and bolts journalist who would get down and work hard to get the story".

"She'll be sadly missed and this is a great tragedy", he added.

Remi Ochlik, an award-winning French photographer, and several other people were also killed when shells hit a makeshift media centre in the Baba Amr district.
