Rise in people applying to take part in game shows

The number of people applying to be on TV game shows rose by 68% in the last year, according to a website that recruits contestants.

The survey suggested that shows with cash prizes like Deal or No Deal and Red or Black are the most popular.

BBC Radio 5 live's Shelagh Fogarty spoke to Andy Kelly from Rochdale who had taken part in 37 TV shows.
