Child benefit changes to be reconsidered, says Clegg
The government has said it will review the details of its plans to scrap Child Benefit for all higher-rate taxpayers.
Under the existing proposal, a single income family in which one partner takes home £43,000 a year would lose the benefit - worth £33 a week for those with two children.
The Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, said the government would "look at" the way the change was administered.
But some Conservative MPs are calling for the plans to be dropped altogether, as Nick Robinson reports.
