Virgin plane emergency landing: 'I could smell fuel'

A passenger has described the scenes onboard a plane which was forced to make an emergency landing at Gatwick Airport.

Virgin flight VS27 had left the West Sussex airport bound for Orlando in the US when smoke was reported in the cabin.

Passenger Tom Aldridge described the reaction onboard.
