Public sector strike planned over pensions

Up to 400,000 public-sector workers are expected to join a 24-hour UK-wide strike in a dispute with the government over proposed pension changes.

Unions say the plans will leave their members paying more and working longer for lower pensions.

However the government says current pension schemes are unfair and unaffordable because people are living longer.

The BBC's John Moylan reports.
