Man tackles Everest on Olympic gold medal quest
A British climber and his team are making the final push in a quest to carry an Olympic gold medal to the summit of Mount Everest.
Kenton Cool, 38, from Gloucestershire, set off from the mountain's base camp in good weather on Thursday.
He is carrying one of 21 medals awarded to the 1922 British Everest Expedition team at the 1924 Winter Olympics.
He wants to fulfil their 88-year-old vow to take a medal to the highest point on Earth.
