Torch relay: Olympic cauldron lights up Cardiff
The Olympic flame has arrived in the Welsh capital Cardiff on day one of its five-day tour of Wales.
The final torchbearer of the day was Melanie Stephenson, who carried the flame into Coopers Field and lit a cauldron in front of thousands of cheering spectators.
She was chosen for the honour because of her charitable work for Diabetes UK and told the BBC she would be "excited for a week" after carrying the flame.
