Olympic torch relay peaks at summit of Snowdon

The Olympic torch has been carried to the summit of Mount Snowdon by renowned mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington during day 11 of the around-the-country relay.

The 77-year-old was cheered on by dozens of people who had gathered to watch him carry the torch to the highest point in England and Wales.
