Jeremy Hunt explains special adviser role in BSkyB bid

Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt has explained special adviser Adam Smith's role in News Corp's bid for BSkyB during his evidence to the Leveson Inquiry into media ethics.

He said he was a "point of contact" but they had not predicted he would receive hundreds of texts and phone calls from News Corp's lobbyist Frederic Michel.
