'Happy birthday' sung to Aung San Suu Kyi on UK visit
The Burmese opposition leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, has been visiting the UK for the first time since she left her family home in Oxford 24 years ago.
On what was her 67th birthday, she visited the BBC World Service where she met a variety of journalists, along with the BBC disc jockey Dave Lee Travis, whose radio programme kept her spirits up during more than two decades of house arrest.
At the London School of Economics she was asked why she did not condemn the Burmese military, but she said she condemned all violence, as Fergal Keane reports.
