Aung San Suu Kyi on progress in Burma
More than 20 years after she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, Burma's veteran campaigner for democracy, Aung San Suu Kyi, has finally been able to make her acceptance speech.
At the historic ceremony before hundreds of dignitaries in Oslo City Hall, she said the honour bestowed in 1991 had saved her from the depths of despair while she was under house arrest in Burma.
The BBC's Fergal Keane met Ms Suu Kyi in Oslo and asked her what it was like to be out of Burma after two decades.
This exclusive interview, her first with a British journalist on her historic trip to Europe, was first broadcast on The Andrew Marr Show, 17 June 2012.
