Leveson denies 'hidden agenda' on inquiry

The man heading the inquiry into media ethics, Lord Justice Leveson, has denied having a "hidden agenda" after finding himself at the centre of the story.

It followed comments from the Education Secretary Michael Gove that the Leveson Inquiry was having a "chilling" effect on freedom of speech.

In a statement, Lord Justice Leveson said that he made a telephone call in which he questioned David Cameron's commitment to his inquiry.
