What next for Julian Assange after ecuador grants asylum?

Ecuador has granted political asylum to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, saying it could not be sure his human rights would not be violated.

Foreign minister Ricardo Patino accused the UK of making an "open threat" to enter its embassy to arrest Mr Assange.

The BBC's Clive Coleman said there would be potentially a long legal waiting game and it was difficult to see how it would progress unless the UK government goes into the embassy.
