Nicklinson's right to die case rejected by High Court
A man paralysed from the neck down has lost his High Court battle to allow doctors to end his life without being prosecuted.
Tony Nicklinson can only communicate by blinking and has described his life as a "living nightmare".
Three High Court judges said it was a tragic case that raised difficult legal and ethical questions but it was for Parliament, not the court, to change the law.
