Cameron: Police deaths 'an act of pure evil'

Prime Minister David Cameron has said the killing of two police officers in Greater Manchester was "an absolutely despicable act - one of pure evil".

PC Nicola Hughes, 23, and PC Fiona Bone, 32 suffered fatal injuries after being called out to an address in Abbey Gardens, Mottram, on Tuesday morning.

Mr Cameron said that their deaths were a "reminder of the incredible risks and great work that our police service does".
