Manchester shootings: 'PCs died doing job they loved'

The chief constable of Greater Manchester Police has paid tribute to the families of two officers killed while on duty in Mottram on Tuesday.

Sir Peter Fahy said that the relatives of Nicola Hughes, 23, and Fiona Bone, 32 had shown "great dignity" and spoken of how the women "had died doing the job that they loved".

Dale Cregan, 29, is being held on suspicion of their murders - and those of two others.
