Simon Weston: Falkland Islanders must get to choose

Falklands War veteran Simon Weston has said he supports people on the islands in their right to self-determination and their choice to be British.

Argentine President Christina Fernandez de Kirchner has repeated her demands that Prime Minister David Cameron hand sovereignty of the Islands to Argentina.

But Mr Weston said sovereignty was up to the islanders, saying, "their system is British and as long as they want that, then we should defend that to the utmost."
