My lifesaving work with helicopter crash pilot
Kevin Hodgson of the Great North Air Ambulance Service has described the lifesaving work he carried out with Captain Pete Barnes, who died when his helicopter crashed into a crane in central London.
Mr Hodgson said over the years, their work for the Great North Air Ambulance Service would have helped save ''a lot of lives''.
In one emergency call-out, the two men worked together on a rescue mission to save a driver from a swollen river.
Mr Hodgson described his shock at hearing the news of his former colleague's death.
