In or out: David Cameron's European gamble
David Cameron has delivered a speech that could end up changing Britain's relationship with the rest of Europe.
He promised that if he is still prime minister, there will be a referendum on whether the UK should stay in or pull out of the European Union by the end of 2017.
Before that he would try to renegotiate Britain's links with the EU.
