Firefighters tackle London museum fire

A fire has broken out in a building in south London which houses a library, a museum and the Southwark Council's one stop shop.

Almost 120 firefighters and 20 fire engines were called to tackle the blaze in the four-storey building in Wansey Street, Walworth, London Fire Brigade said.

The roof of Newington Library and Cuming Museum caught fire but the fire was brought under control by 17:45 GMT.

No injuries have been reported.
