Nicklinson's widow supports new assisted suicide fight

The widow of a man who fought for the right to die with the help of a doctor has said that she supports a paralysed man who is taking up her husband's legal challenge.

Tony Nicklinson, who suffered from locked-in-syndrome, died in August 2012 a week after he failed in his bid to end his life with doctor's help.

Now Paul Lamb, who was severely injured in a car accident in 1990, has joined forces with Mr Nicklinson's family to continue the case.

Mr Nicklinson's widow, Jane, who won permission to continue the case earlier this year, says the two men's situations have similarities.
