Turkey protests: Thousands gather in Taksim square

Thousands of anti-government demonstrators have gathered at a rally in central Istanbul on the 10th consecutive day of protests.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had told his supporters earlier on Sunday to teach the protestors a lesson in next year's local elections.
