Turkey protesters clash with police in Ankara

Police have used tear gas and water cannon to disperse thousands of protesters in the Turkish capital, Ankara in continuing anti-government demonstrations.

Turkey has seen more than a week of demonstrations and civil unrest across the country, sparked by a police crackdown on a local protest over an Istanbul park.

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has ruled out calling early elections.
