Lee Rigby murder trial date set

The trial of the two men accused of killing British soldier Lee Rigby in Woolwich last month will begin at the Old Bailey in November.

Michael Adebolajo, 28, and 22-year-old Michael Adebowale appeared by video link from separate rooms in Belmarsh prison, London, and spoke only to confirm their names.

They were remanded in custody to appear for another preliminary hearing at the Old Bailey on 27 September.
