Andy Murray deserves knighthood - prime minister

Prime Minister David Cameron has said Andy Murray deserves a knighthood following his historic victory at Wimbledon.

Andy Murray beat Novak Djokovic three sets to love becoming the first British man for 77 years to win the British grand slam.

Mr Cameron said: "Honours are decided independently but frankly I can't think of anyone who deserves one more."
