Will the Ashes inspire young people to play cricket?

After the triumphs in tennis and rugby at the weekend, attention now turns to the Ashes series which begins on Wednesday with hopes high for an England victory.

But the sport does have its problems.

Not unlike tennis, cricket faces the challenge of getting young people interested in our national summer game.
