A Ukrainian student has appeared in court accused of the murder of a Birmingham pensioner and terror offences.

25 year old Pavlo Lapshyn has been charged with killing Mohammed Saleem as he returned from a mosque.

He is also charged with planting explosives at three locations in the West Midlands.
