Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust 'not sustainable'

Administrators have said the Mid Staffordshire NHS Trust, which has been hit by a series of scandals, should be dissolved.

The Trust went into administration in April after a report concluded it was not "clinically or financially sustainable".

Mid Staffordshire would be the first foundation trust to be broken up.

The special administrator, Alan Bloom, said the trust was not sustainable and major changes were needed.
