Gibraltar visit for HMS Westminster

HMS Westminster has arrived in Gibraltar as tensions between the UK and Spain over the British territory have continued.

The ship, part of a Royal Navy flotilla en route to the Gulf, was a long-planned deployment and not a reaction to recent events.

A row over disputed waters off Gibraltar, and the building of an artificial reef there, has seen a Spanish fisherman protest and increased border checks by Spanish officials.
