Owner apologises for Norris: the real life cat burglar

The owner of a notorious cat burglar is attempting to reunite his pet's stolen goods with their rightful owners.

Sticky pawed 'Naughty Norris' has been prowling the Bedminster area and in the past year has brought home everything from sports bras and boxer shorts to dishcloths and sausages.

His embarrassed owner, Richard Windsor, has now written an apologetic note to neighbours explaining Norris's behaviour, and inviting them to reclaim their missing items.

But the motive behind Norris's pinching is unclear, as Richard told BBC Radio 5 live's Drive: "It's all a bit of a mystery... I wonder the wildlife might be slightly lacking and he's gone out in search of something else to bring back for me."
