Paralympian Richard Whitehead's 40 marathons in 40 days

Running one marathon is more than enough of a challenge for most people but Paralympian Richard Whitehead has embarked on challenge to run 40 in 40 days.

The London 2012 gold medallist and double amputee is aiming to run from John O'Groats to Land's End in order to raise money for charity.

Speaking to BBC Breakfast in Salford, halfway through his quest, Mr Whitehead said that weather conditions and hills had made his journey tough at times,
