Push to win over HS2 rail projects sceptics

The proposed HS2 rail link between London and the north of England could boost Britain's economy by £15bn a year, according to a report by the company responsible for developing and promoting the project.

The study from accountants KPMG says most of the benefits will be felt in the regions and not the capital.

The scheme has been criticised by some MPs and economists.
