Southern Britain braced for storm

Authorities in southern England and Wales are urging people to make preparations for heavy rain and hurricane-force winds from Sunday into Monday.

There are fears the severe weather, with predicted gusts of up to 80 miles per hour, will cause flooding, damage to buildings and trees and disruption to power supplies and travel.

Hywel Griffith is at a council depot in Abercynon, South Wales.
