40,000 crosses planted in remembrance

A service has taken place near Royal Wootton Bassett to remember over 400 members of the UK armed forces who have died in Afghanistan since 2001.

It was held at the Royal British Legion's Field of Remembrance, at Lydiard Park, Wiltshire.

Over 40,000 crosses bearing personal remembrance messages were planted in Lydiard Park's walled garden.
