Driver on phone 'ran me over and ruined my life'
A woman, who was hit by a driver using a mobile, has backed road safety charity Brake's campaign to ban drivers from using hands-free phones.
Imogen Cauthery was in a coma for 10 days after the accident and has suffered seizures and memory loss ever since.
Ms Cauthery, who was 9 when she was knocked over, told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast: "It's too dangerous - you can't pay attention when you're using your phone behind the wheel."
"I was a very nearly killed. I want my first life back. My first life without all my problems and I can't get that back."
