Original Carols from King's service from 1880 revived

The service of Nine Lessons and Carols from King's College in Cambridge, better known as the Carols from King's, is one of Britain's oldest Christmas traditions.

But contrary to popular belief, it was actually invented by a bishop in Truro, Cornwall, in 1880.

This year, Truro cathedral is reviving that first carol service.

Nick Beake reports.
