Flood prevention: 'Slow the flow' say engineers

As people in many parts of the UK are continuing to deal with the aftermath of the recent floods, engineers are calling for "more imaginative" schemes to help prevent future damage.

Katherine Pygott, from the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management, told the BBC that schemes that "work with nature to slow down the flow" of upland water could help prevent such severe flooding in lowland areas.
