UK floods: Village life transformed in Somerset

Homeowners have told the BBC about their struggle to cope as more heavy rain and gale-force winds sweep across southern Britain.

Seventeen severe flood warnings remain in place, including for Somerset.

One resident in the village of East Lyng told the BBC's Chris Eakin she is still living in her home, despite the downstairs being submerged.

Her home is off the A361 - one of the main roads through Somerset - which has been completely cut off.
