Farmers in struggle to fight back from floods

More could have been done to stop some of the flooding that hit the UK this winter, according to experts who want to see a clear strategy to reduce the risk in the future.

Farmers have been particularly hard hit. Some say they are struggling to survive, with their crops still underwater and livestock moved into barns.

The government says it has set aside £10m to help restore farmland as quickly as possible, but farmers say it is not nearly enough.
