Last surviving British Dambuster recalls the operation
George "Johnny" Johnson, the last surviving British member of the Dambusters, has written his story in a book.
In it, he recalls the night of the 16th of May 1943 when 133 airmen took part in a raid, deep behind enemy lines in Germany, when he was just 22 years old.
Now aged 92, he says the first time they found out about the operation was the day of the briefing before the night of the raid.
