World Cup 2022: 'No comment' on Qatar row

A Fifa investigator is continuing his probe of the 2022 World Cup bidding after fresh allegations of corruption surrounding the tournament in Qatar surfaced on Sunday.

David Beckham and Prime Minister David Cameron, who worked together on England's bid for the 2022 World Cup, could not be drawn to comment on the allegations that there was an overt campaign to secure a groundswell of support for Qatar's 2022 campaign.

Qatar's Minister of Finance, Ali Shareef Al-Emadi and Fifa President Sepp Blatter declined to comment.
