Tesco reports sharp fall in sales

Britain's biggest supermarket chain, Tesco, has reported its worst results in 20 years.

Sales over the past three months were down nearly 4% - the third consecutive quarterly fall.

Philip Clarke, Tesco's chief executive, has said that Tesco's figures will remain pretty grim for a while.
