Betfair: World Cup fans placing 'rational' England bets

Football fans are placing "very rational" bets about England's chances in the World Cup, according to Betfair.

The betting firm said that although some people had placed money on England going "all the way," many predicted the team would be eliminated before the final stages.

Betfair boss Breon Corcoran told BBC Radio 5 live's Wake Up to Money some fans were also pessimistic about players conduct, betting Wayne Rooney would get a red card.
