Superman actor Henry Cavill wants to save endangered animals

Henry Cavill, who plays Superman in Man of Steel film, has become an ambassador for the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust.

The group, based in Jersey where the actor is from, works to prevent the extinction of endangered animals.

The British actor will reprise the role of Superman again in the forthcoming Batman versus Superman film, in which he appears opposite Ben Affleck.
