International reaction to latest IS hostage killing

Britain will take "whatever steps are necessary" to keep the country safe, following the killing of hostage David Haines by Islamic State militants, Prime Minister David Cameron has warned.

US Secretary of State John Kerry is building support for a military alliance to counter the IS threat, while, Australia has announced it is to send 600 troops to the Middle East ahead of possible combat operations.
